Shi Jin Qing : ウィキペディア英語版 | Shi Jin Qing Shi Jin Qing (Chinese: 施進卿) was a late 14th century chieftain in Palembang. He was a Muslim whose ancestors were Hui people from Hangzhou (Chinese: 杭州). The Ming imperial administration appointed him as chieftain Xuan-Wei-Shi (Chinese: 宣慰使) of the Palembang district for his contribution in helping Hajji Mahmud ZhengHe defeat the pirate leader Tan Chor Ee (Chinese: 陈祖義 Chen Zu Yi). Shi Jin Qing had already been appointed an official civil servant of the Majapahit kingdom of Java, sent to Palembang to serve as a minister after the Majapahit defeated Srivijaya in the year 1377. ==Children of Shi Jin Qing== Shi Jin Qing had a son Shi Ji Sun (Chinese: 施济孙) and a daughter Shi Ta Niang. The daughter was also known as Nyai Gede Pinatih or the Great Lady of Gresik (Chinese: 施氏大娘仔俾那智). Both competed for power after their father died in 1421. Hajji Mahmud ZhengHe made Shi Ji Sun the new chieftain Xuan-Wei-Shi, and so the daughter went to Gresik in East Java to preach Islam.
